A bus passes through campus. If this is the bus to the mall it will take you one hour to get there. I think it's faster to walk.
Public transit sucks anywhere, but it sucks even more in Kingston for some reason.
Now is the time that I suggest you stop reading this website and spend all your free time making a new bff that owns a car. Yes, you heard right. Beg, plead, buy, screw, whatever make friends with someone with wheels.
The cost of riding the buses in the city is included in our student fees, although they are trying to change that, and rightfully so, only a small minority of students ride the buses. Queen’s is close enough to the downtown core that you can walk almost anywhere, and the rest of the city doesn’t hold too much that’s worth visiting. That said, it’s nice that you have the option.
