morris hall

During my first year, all the cool cats lived in Morris, as the Arts and Science floor was located there. This rez is right down by the shore of Lake Ontario and has some incredibly huge double rooms, if you are so lucky.

McNeil, Morris, Leonard and Gordon Brockington are situated in a U-shape around a big field and are mere steps from the shores of Lake Ontario.

Lots of pick up games of everything from golf to fribee to frisbee golf are know nto start up here. Most rooms have kick ass views, of either the field, the water, or the treed campus, so you can't really go wrong.

These buildings are getting a bit old .. and are tributes to the cinderblock and linoleum temples of the past.

It was built in 1958 and named for the Hon. William Morris, the first chair of the Board of Trustees and a member of the legislative council of Upper Canada, Morris Hall has served as a men-only residence for 14 years, Queen's first co-ed residence from 1972 - 1988, a women-only residence from 1988 to 1997, and once again as a co-ed residence since September 1997.

Morris Hall is home to 182 Queen's students.
