If you are looking for a cheap way to see a movie on a Sunday night then the ASUS Movie Theatre on the Queen’s Campus is a great bet.
Movies are generally second or third-run (not on dvd yet, but likely not still playing at the Cineplex) and are screened on the big screen in Dunning Auditorium (corner of University Ave. and Union Street). Though the seats are shotty, the screen is big, there’s surround sound, and the price can’t be beat ($3).
Candy and snacks are available for purchase at the show, and if you bring your ticket stub to the QP or Common Ground before or after the show you’ll get a free drink with food order!
Showtimes: 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm

Tickets: $3 in advance (sold at Destinations in the JDUC) and $4 at the door
