pizza
Pizza: it’s something you will inevitably eat on a Sunday night in rez or every night of the week in your ghetto house. It’s good to know what to expect with each place- we’ve listed a few that are close by.
Bubba’s Pizzeria: No one goes to Bubba’s for Pizza, as noted once already. I have never eaten pizza there, and I cannot think of anyone I know who has. If you like, try it out! It’s a pizzeria after all- just one that makes especially good poutine. We at the queensuniversityguide think it would be silly to have a poutineria.
Pizza Pizza: Pizza Pizza pizza is always cheap, and the place is usually open when you stumble home from the bar. Its location is key, and, since the tragic combustion of Joe Dough, is probably the best place to get pizza on the run in the hub. There are also two locations on campus. Beware- for those of you unfamiliar- the pizza crust is thin, not deep dish, and is not quite like other pizza- it’s still delicious though. It's the kind of strange pizza you crave when you are miles away from Ontario ... it's the stuff memories are made of. Tear.
2-4-1: Two for one pizza is cheap – although when you get more creative with toppings (i.e. beyond two per pizza excluding cheese) it looses its appeal. Definitely a good idea for delivery. The style of pizza is pretty standard, yet the pepperoni and green olive is always outstanding in our opinion.
Godfatha’s: Make note- it’s GodfathA’s not er’s. Here you will find some tremendous deals for delivery. The cheese pizza is the best we’ve experienced in Kingston. You cannot walk here. It is too far.
Pizza Hut: It’s a bit of a jaunt up Princess St, yet totally worth the effort if you’re going for the lunch buffet. It’s all you can eat, there’s noodle salad, endless pizza and those strange cinnamon things to finish everything off. Make sure you keep on the staff to continue filling the buffet- it’s all you can eat. Also, bring tupperware and fill it up in the bathroom.
Domino's: Domino's Pizza is located just beside Rhea's (be sure to visit this gem!- there's a jukebox and no shortage of townies). This is a great place to grab a mini pizza on the way home from Philthy's (or Rhea's!). Delivery is good too, blah blah blah- who, really, hasn't heard of this continental-wide pizza chain?
